MileageReimburse ("we," "us," "our") operates the website at MileageReimburse.com. We provide free mileage reimbursement calculators, mileage log tools, and IRS rate guides. For privacy questions, contact us via our contact page.

Information We Collect

Information You Do NOT Give Us

The calculator, mileage log generator, and all on-page tools run entirely in your web browser. No data you enter — miles, income, names, addresses — is ever transmitted to our servers or stored by us. We have no access to your calculations.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit MileageReimburse, our servers and third-party services may automatically collect:

• Log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This is standard for any website and is used for security and uptime monitoring.
• Analytics data: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how long people stay, what devices they use. GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies. This data is aggregated and anonymised; we cannot identify individual users from it.
• Advertising data: We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to show you relevant ads based on your interests and prior browsing activity. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

MileageReimburse itself does not set first-party cookies for tracking purposes. However, our third-party services (Google Analytics and Google AdSense) do set cookies. You can manage or opt out of these:

Data Retention

Server log data is retained for up to 90 days for security purposes. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Analytics data is retained per Google's default retention settings (26 months for GA4 user data).

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• The right to access data we hold about you
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to opt out of personalised advertising (via Google Ad Settings)
• California residents: rights under CCPA, including the right to know what data is collected and to opt out of sale (we do not sell data)

Security

MileageReimburse is served over HTTPS. We do not store sensitive financial data. Our infrastructure uses industry-standard hosting with appropriate access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of MileageReimburse after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
